Every Child is an Artist. The Problem is how to Remain an Artist once we grow up

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." - Pablo Picasso

I don't know about you, but throughout my school-time it seemed that what most teachers wanted to achieve was to make me (and everyone else) anything but an artist, a writer, or a creative person. Even though Picasso died in 1973 and probably came up with this quote quite a while before that, it is more relevant than ever. Most people are driven towards a 'safe' future by getting a 'safe' office-job and basically push papers all day long, and maybe do some art (or something creative) as a hobby. However, since the arrival of crowd-funding sites such as patreon.com, it is easier than ever to built a fan base and make a living being an artist, musician, blogger, or any other type of creator.

Pablo Picassos work might not be appreciated by everyone, but this quote couldn't be more true. If you like this quote, feel free to share it with and discuss it with your friends on your favourite social network.
